Mr. Lebow co-founded Kids’ Dreams with his wife, Patricia.   Mr. Lebow was known for his generosity and philanthropy.He achieved the status of Founder at many institutions including the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts; Mount Sinai Medical Center Miami, Israel Tennis Centers; and the University of Richmond, at which he endowed a family scholarship to help students in need, in keeping with the mission of Kids’ Dreams. Mr. Lebow was born in Baltimore, Maryland. He was President of Alan Lebow, Inc., a well-known manufacturer of high quality men’s clothing. The Alan Awards for Excellence in Shakespeare was created in his honor by Kids’ Dreams as a permanent endowment to perpetuate his love of Shakespeare.
